Making a big deal out of nothing
Now that I’ve taken a deep breath, I can see that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Stressing out over a not-so-stressful situation.
Here’s my plan:
- Accept the Monash offer
- Attend the course information sessions (which, unfortunately, happen to be on the day that I return from Vietnam so I don’t even know how much I’ll take in in my jet lagged state)
- Find out if the Arts Faculty at Melbourne allows people to apply for irregular offers (cross your fingers)
- If yes, apply for an irregular offer
- GET ACCEPTED FOR ARTS AT MELBOURNE (PRAY FOR ME)
- If no, make do with what I have and sort out the distance issues with Monash later
What’s pissing me off is that for the first half of 2011, I had Arts at Melbourne as my first preference, but suddenly I became really set on doing a double degree and here I am.
It will be alright in the end though. I am sure I will love whichever uni I end up at.
