Uni offers

I’m surprisingly calm (LOL) about uni offers. Maybe it’s that I’m not even in the country, or the practice I’ve gotten as a Year Twelve student awaiting exams and results. Obviously, I don’t want to be rejected, but I figure with my ATAR and the changes I’ve made to my preferences in accordance to my score, that’s unlikely to happen. Perhaps it’s the optimism that a new year brings, but as you can see, my glass is half full.

I think it’s my lack of specificity in choosing my first-year course. My aim with sorting my preferences was to pick courses that are broad enough for me to explore what I like and then I’ll become more choosey in what I study. I don’t like the idea of plunging straight into a specific, but narrow, course. That works for some people, but not me.
