So, we also rode on elephants. I did not like it. Not because it was scary or anything, I just don’t like the idea of elephants being made to trudge up and down the same route in heat whilst carrying humans, for the sake of our enjoyment and then chained when they’re not.

I kept thinking about how they are treated off duty. When we were on our elephant, the guy controlling the elephant started smoking midway! I think I might be overreacting, so I’m going to let it slide but I am not riding an elephant in such questionable conditions again.
