Should I not get accepted at UoM, Monash will fine and dandy because they have a club called Disney Society. That’s right, Disney Society.
One day I want to live in someplace with a hill. A hill that overlooks the city or the town. I want to be able to sit there and see everything at a distance. I want to see everything function. I want a glimpse of a world that doesn’t revolve around me. I want a place like this to remind of my insignificance. I want it to be there when I feel like I have no one to turn to, or no other place to go. If I’m ever wandering about aimlessly, I want to end up at this place.
Aussie Day
- Spent the day with the family
- By that I mean I watched Modern Family
- Then I hung out at the beach with the awesome foursome
- By that I mean I watched The OC
- Because I have no friends
- Except for Chandler, Joey, Ross, Phoebe, Monica and Rachel
So, my sister and Robbie were never able to have the time together they both so longed for… and deserved. Which ever since I’ve… ever since I’ve always felt I prevented. But what sense of hope or satisfaction could a reader derive from an ending like that? So in the book, I wanted to give Robbie and Cecilia what they lost out on in life. I’d like to think this isn’t weakness or… evasion… but a final act of kindness. I gave them their happiness.

The Herald Sun
After a month of being away and delayed even more than usual, today I got my hands on the issue of the Herald Sun that listed all the top achievers in each subject.
With the insane, but not surprising, number of times I saw ‘Mac Robertson Girls’ High School’ afterwards I just wanted to shoot my toe off.
One teeny tiny joy was finding my name listed three times. Holla.
Being back in Australia and remembering how bat shit expensive everything is:

tagged: Hong Kong
Technically, technically, I high-fived Jackie Chan.
GUESS WHERE I ALSO WENT
- A huge mug with Mickey and Minnie’s face on each side, out of which I shall drink my tea for the rest of my life (unless I get a mug that trounces this one - something I highly doubt exists)
MickeyMinnie ears- My mum also got a Minnie apron, bless her
- LOOK AT MR LIGHTYEAR WHO IS NOW LIVING ON MY PINK WALL
HONG KONG
- Navy Converse low-tops
- Black Vans
- Uggs
- Beats earphones
- Tan belt from H&M that appears in the previous photo of the scarves
Shopping in Hong Kong involves being bombarded with Nike and Adidas stores. That is why I bought sneakers because normally I wouldn’t buy sneakers. They are everywhere, you cannot escape them. Where one store is, there’s another fifty scattered along the road.
And my uggs, yet another pair of shoes that I would not normally buy or wear and I did buy them. When 80% of the female population in Hong Kong are wearing ugg boots, it’s very easy to fall victim to conformity.
Let me tell you about these earphones. They were cheap and they are fake, but I thought they would at least work for a little while. No. After we got them I was holding them and changing the piece that goes in your ear and the earphone broke. Piece of shit.
We spent 45 minutes looking for H&M and all I bought was a belt. I contemplated getting a Beatles tee, a black and gold bangle and a floppy black hat, and I left with a belt. Spare me the disappointment, I’m already incredibly ashamed of myself.
